Real Estate Inspections

WOOD INFESTATION REPORT or CL100 is a termite report that is required by your mortgage lender when purchasing a home in Charleston, SC. Upon an offer of your new home, a qualified inspector will look for visible evidence of termite damage. Special attention will be paid to wood damage, structural damage or fungi. Your inspector will look for past or present infestation by organisms, like: Subterranean termites, Drywood termites, old house borers, Powderpost Beetles and other wood-destroying insects. Any damage found will be disclosed in a report to you and your home mortgage lender. What happens if damage is found to your home?
